What this helps you do
Home is the first page you see after signing in. It brings together the work assigned to you, the requests waiting on you, and the projects, chats, and items you were most recently working with, so you can pick up where you left off. Select Home in the sidebar to open it at any time. Select New project in the top bar to start a project from here.Get set up
New organizations and new members see a Getting started card at the top of Home. It tracks three steps and stays visible until you dismiss it, including after all three are done:- Create a project — opens the project form.
- Invite teammates — for admins, opens User management. Members see Join your team’s work instead, which is ticked once a teammate shares a project with them.
- Learn the basics — opens the Quickstart.
Work through your tasks
My tasks lists open kanban cards assigned to you across your projects. Each row shows the card title, its project and board, and when it is due:- Overdue and Due today come first, then cards due soon, then later dates.
- Cards with No due date come last.
- Cards marked complete, or in a column designated as completed, are left out. A column might be named Done; its completion setting determines whether cards there count as finished.
Answer pending approvals
Pending approvals shows how many access and review requests are waiting on you. The count updates as requests arrive. Select it to open Requests, where you can approve or deny them. See Reviews and approvals.Return to recent work
- Recent projects — the projects you opened most recently. Select one to open it, or select All projects to see every project you can open.
- Recent quick chats — your latest AI chats outside a project, newest first. Select one to continue it, or select All quick chats.
- Shared with me — files and folders teammates recently shared with you, with who shared them and whether you Can edit or Can view. Select the arrow on a row to open the item in its project.
Expected result
You can see what needs your attention today and return to recent work in one or two selections.Troubleshooting
- A task is missing from My tasks: check that it is assigned to you, is not marked complete, and is not in a column designated as completed.
- A shared item is missing: Home shows only your most recent shares. Look under Shared with me in the project’s Files pane. If it is not there either, the owner may have removed your access.
- Pending approvals shows 0, but someone sent a request: the request may be waiting on a different person, such as the item’s manager.
- The Getting started card is gone: it may have been dismissed. You can still open the Quickstart from the docs, which Help & resources links to.
- A section shows an error: reload the page. The other sections keep working while one is unavailable.
