Take a tour
A tour highlights one part of the screen at a time and explains what it does. Tours are available on desktop-width windows.
To start one, open Help & resources, select Tours, and choose the tour. A tour that cannot run on the current page is greyed out and tells you where to go.
Follow the Full tour
The Full tour starts on its own the first time you open Collivo in an organization. Select Let’s go to begin.- Move through the cards with Next and Back, or the arrow keys.
- On the last Home card, select Continue to carry on inside a project. If you have no project yet, the tour helps you create one.
- If the project has no files, the tour offers to help you create your first file.
- The tour ends with ways to bring in your team, such as Invite people to Collivo or Add teammates to this project, depending on your role. These open the right screen; nothing is sent until you confirm it there.
Leave a tour early
Select Skip — I’ll explore on my own or press Esc. The tour closes and puts the workspace back the way you left it. A tour you skip does not start again on its own.Use keyboard shortcuts
Open Help & resources → Keyboard shortcuts to see the full list. Common shortcuts include:Expected result
You can learn your way around with a tour, look up a shortcut, or reach these docs and the support team from anywhere in Collivo.Troubleshooting
- A tour is greyed out: read the message under it. The Full tour starts from Home; the other tours start inside a project.
- Tours are unavailable: tours need a desktop-width window. Widen the window or use a larger screen.
- The Full tour did not start on its own: it runs automatically only once per organization. Start it from Help & resources → Tours.
- A shortcut does nothing: click into the area it applies to first, such as the message box for chat shortcuts.
